New York Fashion Week: Tracy Reese
Backstage and midmanicure, the designer promised us “sick runway beats” and a “colorful, confident, energetic, wearable, useful, and beautiful” fall 2012 collection. She’s Tracy Reese; it’s kind of her thing.
Tracy Reese show was a walk in the park. Our fair lady sent down blushing models down the runway in vintage-feeling floral dresses with hemlines that hit mid-thigh or skimmed the calf and prim square-brimmed hats. The perfect excuse for a garden party (or any party).
Must-have piece: “Pure delight” peplum dress.
Styling hit: Two twists at the top of the head leading into loose hair.
Prettiest detail: Decorative bows.
