New York Fashion Week: BCBG Max Azria
Max Azria played chief to the coolest fashion tribe out there at BCBG’s spring 2012 presentation. Loose, lightweight dresses began at off-center necklines and flowed to asymmetrical hemlines, sometimes effortlessly pleating. Wing-like pieces fluttered down shoulder blades further reminding us of the line’s airiness — even ponchos seemed weightless. Geometric prints in muted brights sat against neutral backgrounds for an ease that still oozed of-the-moment style, begging to trade the teepee for the city.
