New York Fashion Week: Bright Young Things Opening Party

Not A Gallery artist Justin Belmont unveiled ten diamond-dusted paintings of ’60s fashion icons (Twiggy, Grace Kelly). Industry vets including Julia von Boehm and WWD’s David Lipke styled coordinating mannequins in legendary looks (Hepburn’s LBD, Bardot’s hot pants).
Belmont’s must-have painting: “I have a few favorites. I’m obsessed with the Marilyn Monroe. But what do I want in my house? The Paul Newman.” On our wish list: Steve McQueen’s mugshot.
