Screen Play: Sundance 2013 “Upstream Color”
The Gist: Two people are drawn to each other by more than just chemistry — they’ve both been drugged with an interconnected and interdependent organism. Confused? Us, too. Regardless, writer/director/producer/star Shane Carruth’s follow-up to his Sundance 2004 Grand Jury Prize winner, Primer, is a wondrous excursion through some kind of trippy science experiment. One we’re ready to take again.
