Backstage and midmanicure, the designer promised us “sick runway beats” and a “colorful, confident, energetic, wearable, useful, and beautiful” fall 2012 collection. She’s Tracy Reese; it’s kind of her thing.
Ladylike, fur-trimmed duffel coats; cream shift dresses with electric blue beads; and lemon yellow peplum coats debuted to the tune of a pop-dance-electro-reggae sound track. We were nodding our heads for all sorts of reasons.
